Chewsaw Massacre by SeanMcFarland Chewsaw Massacre by SeanMcFarland
Halloween is here and the line is celebrating!
Check out all of the other excellent pieces here!

Tony Chu from Chew, and the Murder Family from TCsM sit down for a nice piece of pie. He will probably shoot them all.

Thanks buddy! Yeah, I should use watercolors more than I do, but you know, I'm a lazy bastid. :)

you crazy bastard!.. you did this one in watercolor!?
unless that is a super fancy realistic program..
in which case you're even crazier!

still though. love the design..
and the general craziness of the characters..
i dig it all!

Ha! Yeah, about as low tech as you can go. Watercolors are good to break out once in a while to mix things up. I'd love to see what some Marco-art looks like in traditional media!

The silver lining! Now I don't mind power outages there as much. :D ;)

But seriously, I hope you and yours are A-OK, bud.

Peace.

I love Chew and only suggested this for that reason. I don't care much for TCsM but I thought the matchup was appropriate. I was so right ^_^
I got to meet Rob Guillory this weekend and that was great, though he wouldn't answer my Chew question. Still, fun.

Yeah, I thought it was a great match up too! I'm reading Chew via the Omnivore editions, so I don't know if they ever explore it, but murderous hillbilly family would fit pretty well tonally.

Cool on meeting Guillory! He brings so much to that book, I couldn't imagine it without him.

I like the art but I can't say I get any of the references.

Whelp. I'll take what I can get. :)

You should check out some Chew.

It has some incredibly original ideas at the very least.

I can't really recommend the texas chainsaw massacre though... If you like people getting messed up with powertools by skin wearing hillbillies, then I guess it's the series for you. Otherwise you may want to steer clear.
